My name is Sylvie Royer; I am a Registered Dental Hygienist. I obtained a diploma in dental hygiene from a College in Quebec City, my hometown, in 1992. Then in 2012, I graduated with a Degree in Dental Sciences from the University of British Columbia. After practicing dental hygiene for more than 25 years, I still find myself passionate about my chosen profession. I am especially interested in research that links oral health diseases to general health. In this regard, I know that my services can make a significant difference in my clients’ overall health. Also, one aspect that I enjoy the most in my career is the connection with my clients. At Image Dental, a family practice, I have the chance to treat three generation of the same family. Moreover, over the years I acquired many strategies to help my clients with dental anxiety. I am a soft-spoken, calm, and receptive person, and I listen to my clients’ needs, one of the most meaningful aspects of my work. I am also a busy mother of three wonderful and active children: a 13-year-old son, a 17-year-old daughter, and a 20-year-old daughter. I love the outdoors so in my spare time I run, hike, cycle, ski, snowshoe, and read. I look forward to assisting you at Image Dental!
