Sylvie Royer

Hi, I am Sylvie and I completed a dental hygiene diploma at a College in Quebec City in 1992 and 20 years later obtained a degree in dental sciences from UBC. This year will mark my 31st year of practice in dental hygiene!! I had the opportunity to practice dental hygiene at Image Dental since 2015, so eight years ago.

I have many hobbies. Since my children are all adults now, I have time to read daily, walk, and meditate. I also enjoy hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and spending time with my friends.

I have three children; two daughters, one son, and a cat named Melody. My oldest daughter has graduated with a Degree in English and currently works in downtown Calgary. My second daughter is studying in Halifax and my son is taking a gap year and hopefully reflecting on his future!

When I have time, I enjoy watching Netflix. Either watching something emotional like “This is Us” and keeping the box of Kleenex on my lap or laughing at a series like “Mom”, which is still my favorite comedy on Netflix.
